Esperienza gourmet al Forte Village Resort con il nuovo ristorante di Carlo Cracco

Gourmet experience at Forte Village Resort with the new restaurant by Carlo Cracco

Haute cuisine with a sea view: Chef Cracco launches his new restaurant at Forte Village

One of the protagonists of the starred Italian cuisine and famous personality of the TV, Carlo Cracco inaugurates a new food experience in Sardinia: “Ristorante da Cracco” opens inside Forte Village Resort starting from the end of June 2025.

Summer 2025 here at Forte Village promises to be full of news and great events. In addition to highly anticipated concerts like the ones of Duran Duran (July 12) and Gianna Nannini (August 9) and the show by Nino Frassica & Los Plaggers Band “Tour 2000/3000”, the Resort – acknowledged as one of the most beautiful in the world – prepares to enrich its offering with the inauguration of “Ristorante da Cracco”, the new gastronomic adventure of the starred chef Carlo Cracco, expected for the end of June.

After sharing precious tricks and secrets of the culinary art with the guests of the Resort in engaging masterclasses and exclusive moments of meeting, the haute cuisine master from Vicenza returns to this prestigious location in Santa Margherita di Pula, just 45 minutes by car from Cagliari, with a project that redefines the concept of fine dining within a holiday.

“Ristorante da Cracco”, recently opened to guests, is not simply a “place to eat”, but a complete sensory experience designed to amaze, excite and leave an indelible memory, thanks to a menu extremely curated in details and one of the most evocative landscapes in the Mediterranean. The restaurant overlooks a splendid terrace hanging between sky and sea, next to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island, and will offer the possibility of dining under the stars in an intimate, refined and elegant atmosphere from the mise en place to the background music.

From a culinary point of view, Chef Cracco’s proposal is a real tribute to Italian cuisine in its most visionary and contemporary way. The menu, a “taste journey” in which tradition and innovation naturally intertwine, celebrates the excellence of the territory and, generally, of the Mediterranean, with particular attention to the quality and seasonality of the selected raw materials, but also to lightness and freshness, in perfect harmony with the summer and seaside context in which the restaurant places itself.

Each dish is then the result of technical work and creativity that never misses local identity, capable of evoking authentic emotions and surprising even the most demanding palates, in a food experience designed for a convivial, but still exclusive vibe.

Chef Cracco, an Italian cuisine’s icon between innovation, entrepreneurship and television

Carlo Cracco is certainly one of the most influential and recognized personalities in contemporary Italian cuisine, who masterfully combines tradition and innovation, culinary art and business, technical discipline and personal charisma.

The eclectic career of the chef, born in 1965 in Creazzo (province of Vicenza), begins with a long apprenticeship in some of the most prestigious kitchens in the world, including those of Gualtiero Marchesi, universally recognized as the founder of “new Italian cuisine”, and of the famous “Louis XV” by chef Alain Ducasse, a fundamental experience that enabled him to assimilate the great French school and to merge these teachings with national traditions.

In the following years, Cracco takes on the leadership of important restaurants, including “Le Clivie” in Piobesi d’Alba and later “Le Jardin de Sens” in Montpellier, France, where he wins his first Michelin stars. The real springboard, anyway, came with the opening of his own namesake restaurant in Milan, launched in 2007 and quickly becoming a point of reference for signature cuisine in the North of Italy.

This was followed by the opening of “Carlo e Camilla in Segheria” (now permanently closed), a restaurant boasting an original concept that combined gourmet cuisine with a distinctly industrial design, and the recent “Cracco in Galleria”, in the heart of Milan in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which hit the headlines a few years ago for a much-discussed reinterpretation of Pizza Margherita. An idea loved by many, criticized by many others, which nevertheless fits perfectly into the chef’s culinary style characterized by a refined ability to redefine Italian tradition with innovative touches and techniques, without ever disrespecting ingredients.

No less important is his fame as a TV personality. Thanks to his participation in successful shows, such as “MasterChef Italia” and “Hell’s Kitchen Italia”, Cracco has quickly become a familiar and beloved face by the audience, and contributed to making quality cuisine a popular and (more) accessible phenomenon.

His entrepreneurial vision is based on a combination of quality, innovation and attention to detail, values that he has been able to consistently convey even in his recent collaborations, including the one with Forte Village, a prestigious reality where his cuisine meets a place of unparalleled luxury and refinement.

Carlo Cracco and Forte Village, a collaboration aiming at excellence

With the opening of the new summer pop-up by Carlo Cracco, Forte Village reconfirms its identity as an exclusive destination, where every detail is designed to provide a stay characterized by luxury, comfort and undisputed quality.

The arrival of the starred chef, known for his participation in famous TV shows such as “Masterchef” and “Hell’s Kitchen Italia” fits into a context rich in food and wine excellence: the resort boasts an extraordinary collection of gourmet and starred restaurants led by prestigious chefs from the Italian and international cuisine – just to mention a few, Giuseppe Molaro and his Belvedere, Massimiliano Mascia and his Terrazza San Domenico and, last but not least, the three-starred Heinz Beck head of the Beachcomber.

At the same time, it is not just an additional gastronomic evolution, but a precious piece that enriches the offering of the Resort. From its cutting-edge wellness centers, which combine the latest medical and aesthetic technologies with the principles of thalassotherapy, to the over twenty top-quality sports academies for teaching as many disciplines, including tennisswimmingfencing and padel, without ever forgetting about the rich cultural and musical schedule that comes to life every summer on the stage of Forte Arena, everything at Forte Village contributes to shaping an immersive, multisensory, just unrepeatable experience.
