The resort boasts a wide and highly regarded offering of Sports Academies that will meet all needs, of adults and children, and offer them the opportunity to try their hand at new disciplines to enrich their experience and add new sports to their roster.
This is not all: guests can choose between specific training paths and personalised training sessions with great international champions in the role of exceptional coaches.

The scheduling of the Tennis Academy with great champions
Those who love tennis will be delighted by the Forte Village Tennis Academy, with 12 clay courts and one hard court, all FIT certified. At the helm is Rocco Loccisano, an established Australian tennis player with Italian origins and former coach of Pat Cash.
In addition, every year, the FV Tennis Academy organises a tennis school with Grand Slam champions, the Wimbledon winners and the most famous tournaments in the world: a rare opportunity to perfect your style and technique and learn this engaging sport under the guidance of the Tennis Royalties.
The courses are aimed at players of all ages, both beginners and professionals, with specialised lessons on individual shots and competition techniques.
The little ones can attend the wonderful Junior Tennis Academy Camp, where they can play and improve their technique, while higher-level players can register for the unmissable weekly singles, doubles, junior and senior tennis tournaments.
In addition to group courses, FV Tennis Academy also offers individual courses:

In addition, the Academy this year offers, from May 30th to September 9th, the “Mental Match Play Tennis Training”, a unique tennis training program with music, divided into 5 lessons:
- Lesson 1: Basic Shots – After this lesson, you will have a clear idea of how to use background shots effectively.
- Lesson 2: Volley and Serve – How to score points faster! Fluency gives effortless power to your serve! With the right preparation, you will perfect the volley effectively.
- Lesson 3: In-Game Security – Win with Fewer Mistakes!
- Lesson 4: Stroke training – How to find your best tennis and stay focused. With the confidence to win!
- Lesson 5: Preparation for the competition – Activation and anchoring of your shots. Ready for the match!
And then, the legends, of course: from June 27th to July 7th Magnus Larsson will be in residency, the former Swedish professional tennis player, obtained his best ranking in singles in 1995 with the tenth position and managed to win seven tournaments of the ATP circuit.
From 10th to 20th July it will be the turn of Hicham Arazi, a former Moroccan professional tennis player who reached the quarterfinals in singles at the French Open in 1997 and 1998 and at the Australian Open in 2000 and 2004.
From 20th to 30th July there will be Emilio Sanchez, former Spanish professional tennis player who won a Grand Slam tournament three times in men’s doubles and won a total of 65 trophies in his career, while from 13th to 30 th July Pat Cash, tennis coach and former Australian tennis player, winner of Wimbledon in 1987.
Again, from July 29th to August 5th will be the turn of Dominik Hrbaty, tennis coach and former Slovak tennis player who obtained his best ranking in singles in 2004 with the twelfth position.
From 8th to 17th August there will be the opportunity to train with Albert Costa, tennis coach and former Spanish tennis player champion of Roland Garros 2002 and bronze medalist in men’s doubles at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
Finally, from the 21st to the 27th of August, Thomas Enqvist, tennis coach and former Swedish tennis player who reached his best ranking in 1999 obtaining a fourth place in the world rankings, will be the guest.
At the Fencing Academy discover the secrets of sword, foil and saber
The Fencing Academy will make your stay at Forte Village even more unforgettable with the opportunity to train at the gym of the Sports Academy Centre equipped, from 2023, with four professional platforms with the most advanced technologies.
The qualified coaches will teach the best sword, foil and sabre techniques with group lessons, divided into five days from Monday to Friday, and with individual lessons.
From 9th to 17th July exceptional teacher will be Stefano Pantano, former Italian fencer specialist in the sword, three times world champion team.
He won 3 golds and a silver at the Universiade, 2 golds in the European Cup and was the Italian absolute champion in 1989.
From 15th to 23rd July we will have Valentina Vezzali, former Italian fencer, foil specialist, and the most medaled woman in fencing, who won nine medals at the Olympic Games, including six gold, one silver and two bronze.
In her career, she has also won 16 World titles, 13 European Championships, five Universiade, two Mediterranean Games, 11 times the World Cup and 30 national titles.
On July 16th we will attend the exhibition match between Stefano and Valentina.
From 23rd to 30th July it will be the turn of Paolo Pizzo, Italian fencer, and sword specialist, the only Italian to have won two world titles in the sword equalling the great Edoardo Mangiarotti.
What’s new at the Bike Academy
Forte Village’s Bike World offers guests world stars and highly experienced instructors for the lessons and training of the Academy, open to experts and beginners of all ages and levels.
Guests will thus have the opportunity to use the best racing bicycles, mountain bikes and pedal-assisted bicycles along the most spectacular roads and paths of southern Sardinia, with both individual and group lessons.
For the little ones, School without Training Wheels offers courses of familiarisation and introduction to the two wheels.
From 30th May to 9th September, from Monday to Sunday, there will be the Road Bike Academy with which children can experience the first movements and manoeuvres in a safe environment under the guidance of experienced teachers while adults will improve their skills following the tracks and instructions of the coaches.
All while admiring the most enchanting roads of South Sardinia’s coast and its breathtaking hills routes.
Exceptional masters Fabian Cancellara, former Swiss road cyclist, an absolute specialist in time trials, one-day races and short stage races with the victory of four world time trial championships, and Fabio Aru, former Italian road cyclist who in his career won the Vuelta España 2015, a stage in the Tour de France, three stages at the Giro d’Italia and two at the Vuelta España and the national title in 2017, as well as two podiums at the Giro d’Italia.
From April to October, from Monday to Sunday, it will be possible to bike with the Mountain Bike Academy, both for beginners and experts of all ages.
In an idyllic setting of the south coast, in complete safety, young and old can experience exciting adventures on the saddle of mountain biking with the guide of Paola Pezzo, one of the absolute myths of Italian sport, mountain bike professional since 2005, twice Olympic champion in Cross Country, twice XC World Champion and winner of the World Tour XC.
