“Ocean, Live Orchestra and DJ Experience” comes to the Forte Arena
“Ocean, Live Orchestra e DJ Experience”, when orchestra and techno music cross paths for a memorable night at the Forte Arena
Forte Arena, the amazing theatre under the stars in Santa Margherita di Pula, prepares to host an extraordinary music event: “Ocean, Live Orchestra and DJ Experience”, scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2025, 9:00 pm.
On August 16, 2025, 9:00 pm, Forte Arena in Santa Margherita di Pula will be hosting a unique musical experience: “Ocean, Live Orchestra and DJ Experience”, an amazing event where orchestra and techno cross paths under the starry sky of Sardinia.
A night in which music will transcend mere listening: you’ll breathe it, you’ll cross it, you’ll experience it. The sound waves will move like emotional tides, in a fluid dialogue of strings and synthesizers, between orchestral scores and techno pulses, transforming Forte Arena into a multisensory stage and giving audience a memorable sound and visual journey.
Conceived as a contemporary ritual, “Ocean, Live Orchestra and DJ Experience” is much more than a show: it is an unprecedented sound and visual experience between two musical styles as different as complementary, created from the idea of producer and musician Stephan Barnem (Gian Stefano Murru). In a single evening, these two souls will merge into a new and particular creature, made of light, sound and collective vibes.
An event that will mark a before and after in the history of open-air shows in Sardinia. All in an exceptional natural setting: the Forte Arena, a prestigious outdoor stage nestled in the Mediterranean nature of Santa Margherita di Pula, near the most beautiful local beaches.
Ocean Live, a multisensory musical experience to join at the Forte Arena
It is not just a concert. It is not a club night. “Ocean, Live Orchestra and DJ Experience” is a complex and multifaceted artistic exhibition, with the will of merging worlds and languages, offering a deep sound immersion capable of evoking seascapes, emotional waves, and the lighthearted atmospheres of summers spent on the beach.
The performance will be divided into two distinct yet intimately connected moments. The first features Orchestra Ente Concerti “Marialisa De Carolis” from Sassari, conducted by the young talent Francesco Mancuso, one of the most promising Italian conductors. For this important occasion, the ensemble has worked on an original and completely new composition, a symphony of sixty minutes in which acoustic instruments and electronics dialogue on an equal level, evoking a soundscape in which the emotional depth of classical music meets the ethereal energy of techno, shaping a cohesive and immersive plot.
In the second part of the night, the stage will make room for a live electronic journey, signed by an original and varied team made by the most influential and visionary contemporary music artists. Davide “Boosta” Dileo, co-founder of Subsonica, musician and producer boasting a multifaceted career, will bring his unique style’s signature to the stage alternating naturally between electronics and classical piano, experimentation and discipline.
Alongside him, Beatrice Venezi, conductor, pianist and innovative artist of the European symphonic scene, and Marco Carpentieri, DJ and producer who performed at the most important electronic festivals in the world – Ultra Music Festival in Miami and EDC in Las Vegas – and songs supported by global icons like David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Afrojack.
The Orchestra Ente Concerti “Marialisa De Carolis” from Sassari, a prestigious musical organization among the most relevant in the national symphonic panorama, protagonist of important lyrical and symphonic productions such as the recent and acclaimed world premiere of Giselle around Le Villi as part of Puccini’s celebrations, will shape body and depth to the entire sound atmosphere. An authoritative orchestral presence, dealing with the electronic dimension not as a simple companion, but as an equal and creative interlocutor in a fertile comparison between classics and contemporary sound design.
On stage, the four artists involved will bring a musical organism in constant transformation, where virtuosity, research and performative intensity will intertwine in a fluid, complex and unstoppable texture – just like the waves and flows of a moving ocean.
The distribution of the audience is unprecedented as well: the stalls will be transformed for the first time ever into a big open-air lounge, without any regular seats, to enable everyone to experience music in a fluid, dynamic and participatory space, while an immersive light design will allow the notes to dialogue with the visuals in real time.
A summer by experimentation, meetings and nostalgia at the Forte Arena
At the heart of Ocean’s philosophy lies a deep reflection: today, more than ever, music must return being a shared experience to break down barriers between genres, between stage and audience, between emotion and participation.
The project is not just about merging instruments and genres: it aims at uniting people and worlds, at creating a community that lives, listens, feels and transforms together. It is a contemporary ritual, a space free from labels, where music plays the role of guide and mutual language. Immersive scenography, synchronized visuals, lighting systems, absence of individual seats, all these things suggest precisely this: a new way of experiencing concerts, more fluid, dynamic and engaging.
But “Ocean, Live Orchestra and DJ Experience” is just one of the key moments for summer 2025 at the Forte Arena, the theatre under the stars that, every year, confirms itself as one of the best cultural locations in the Mediterranean. The schedule, as always, ranges between diverse genres, languages and targets, with the aim of creating a varied calendar of music and entertainment from all over Italy and even abroad.
On Saturday, July 12, in fact, the iconic band from the 1980s Duran Duran will get to Sardinia after the success of their last released album, “Danse Macabre”, with an unmissable stage on their latest European tour. An event not to be missed for who loves music, irony and improvisational theatre will happen on August 2, with “Tour 2000/3000” by comedian Nino Frassica and his Los Plaggers Band. Finally, the queen of Italian rock, Gianna Nannini, will instead stage in South Sardinia on Saturday, August 9, with an unmissable show on the tour “Sei nell’anima – Festival European Leg”, a musical journey through iconic songs and new productions.
Tickets for “Ocean, Live Orchestra and DJ Experience” are available on the official channels of BoxOfficeSardegna and TicketOne, from €63.25 per person. All that’s left to do is to prepare to join an immersive and unconventional multisensory experience, designed to leave indelible memories.
