Forte Arena is Forte Village’s magnificent natural amphitheatre under the stars in Santa Margherita di Pula lapped by the white beach and the crystalline sea of Sardinia, hosts the best events of the summer on the island including the only date of the “Dove c’è il sole tour” by Gigi D’Alessio.
The talented Neapolitan singer-songwriter will embrace his audience to sing along with him his most beloved songs with a line-up that contains over 30 years of success, Saturday 29th of July, two weeks after the equally awaited concert by Tiziano Ferro.
Gigi D’Alessio, short biography
Born in Naples on February 24th 1967, Gigi (Luigi) began to compose and write music in childhood and is a self-taught piano player.
At the age of 12, he enrolled at the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in Naples where he graduated at the age of 21 in piano.
After conducting the Scarlatti Orchestra and working with some great names in the Neapolitan music scene such as Pino Mauro, Antonio Buonomo, Angela Luce and Mario Trevi, he became the official pianist for Mario Merola.
In 1992, he released his first album, “Lasciatemi cantare”, in 1994 his third work “Dove mi porta il cuore” and in 1995 he reaches national success with the album “Passo dopo passo”.
1996 is the year of the album “Fuori dalla Mischia” and on June 7th, 1997 Gigi holds his first concert “Fuori dalla Mischia” at the Naples stadium.
His career continued with the sixth album “E’ stato un piacere” in 1998, with the seventh album “Tutto in un Concerto” with 13 songs that trace his artistic path up to that moment, and with the album “Portami con te” in 1999.
In February 2000 he participated in the Festival di Sanremo with the song “Non dirgli mai” and, the same year, his ninth album “Quando la mia vita cambiarà” is awarded the golden record.
In 2001 he returns to the Festival with “Tu che ne sai”, the song that projects the tenth album “Il cammino dell’età” to the first place of the best-selling albums.
In the following years, Gigi held concerts in Italy and abroad, participated in television broadcasts, published new albums, returned to the Sanremo Festival, played the role of producer and confirmed himself as a talented artist capable of thrilling the crowds.

July 29th is the date to mark on the calendar for all fans of the famous Neapolitan singer-songwriter: Gigi will go up on the suggestive stage of the Forte Arena, Forte Village‘s flagship amphitheatre, an award-winning resort ideal for meetings and prominent events not far from Cagliari, from 9.30 pm with the new live trip “Dove c’è il sole tour”, produced by GGD and Friends & Partners.
It will be a unique opportunity in Sardinia to sing along to his most beloved songs, in a line-up that offers over 30 years of success: from historical songs such as “Non mollare mai”, “Il cammino dell’età”, “Mon amour”, “How many loves”, “Como suena el corazon”, “Non dirgli mai”, up to the most recent ones such as “La prima stella” and “Benvenuto amore”, up to “Noi due”, “L’ammore”, “Come me”, “Mentre a vita se ne va”, and many others.
On stage, D’Alessio will be accompanied by Alfredo Golino (drums), Roberto D’Aquino (bass), Pippo Seno (guitars), Ciro Manna (guitars), Checco D’Alessio (keyboards), Lorenzo Maffia (piano and keyboards) and Max D’Ambra (keyboards and programming).
