After the Italy Travel Award 2019 and the Grand Prix of the Best resort in Europe 2019, given in occasion of the Prix Villégiature Awards, Forte Village Resort has also been voted World’s Leading Resort 2019.
Forte Village Resort of Santa Margherita di Pula, south Sardinia, adds to its rich collection of awards the World’s Leading Resort 2019, received at the World Travel Awards ceremony in the Royal Opera Muscat in Oman last 28th November.
Twenty two consecutive years receiving this prize has established the uniqueness of the resort, leader in hospitality and international tourism, directed and administrated by Lorenzo Giannuzzi since 1994. Alongside the World’s Leading Resort it also received another two titles, the World’s Leading Sports Academy 2019 and the World’s Leading Sports Resort 2019, both in recognition of the extraordinary sports offer at the resort.

In 2019 the Grand Tour of the World Travel Awards™ went to North America and Caribbean (Jamaica), Middle Orient (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates), Africa and Indian Ocean (Mauritius), Europe (Madeira, Portugal), Latin America (La Paz, Bolivia), Asia and Oceania (Phu Quoc, Vietnam), and last of all the ceremony which proclaimed Forte Village of Santa Margherita di Pula as World’s Leading Resort 2019, was the final gala in Muscat, Oman.
